Application
The Xi’an Taifu Simo TK series large three-phase synchronous motors are designed specifically for driving reciprocating air compressors. These motors are suitable for indoor environments where the ambient temperature is below 40°C, with minimal dust and no presence of vapor, corrosive gases like acids or alkalis, or explosive gases.
Protection and Cooling
The TK series motors have a protection class of IP00 and use an IC01 cooling method. Other protection classes and cooling methods can be customized in consultation with the user. The structure and installation type of the motor can be adapted to meet the compressor’s requirements, and it can be manufactured in either IM7311 or IM5710 configurations, with other options available upon request.
Specifications
The rated voltage for the TK series motors is 6000 volts, but they can also be made with a rated voltage of 10000 volts. The permissible voltage deviation range is ±5%, with a rated frequency of 50Hz and a rated power factor of 0.9 (leading). The rotation direction of the motor, viewed from the slip ring end, is clockwise. If needed, the rotation direction can be changed, but the fan blades should be adjusted accordingly.

The TK series motors are available in a wide range of power ratings, including: 250, 320, (350), 400, 500, (550), 630, 800, 1000, (1120), 1250, (1400), 1600, (1800), 2000, (2200), 2500, (2800), 3200, (3600), 4000 kW, among others. Excitation System
The excitation system of the TK series synchronous motors uses a static thyristor excitation device. These motors are designed for full-voltage direct starting; however, if the power grid capacity does not permit full-voltage starting, they can also start with reduced voltage.
