Motor Overview
The YVF2 series high-voltage variable-frequency three-phase asynchronous motors from Xi’an Taifu Simar are a new generation of variable-frequency speed regulation motors developed to meet market demands. They have the advantages of low noise, small vibration, wide speed regulation range, convenient maintenance, and reliable operation. This series of motors adopts a specially designed electromagnetic scheme and reasonable stator and rotor slot matching to adapt to the power supply of the frequency converter. So that the motor can output constant torque at low speed and maintain a certain overload capacity at high frequencies. This series of motors uses high-quality electromagnetic wire and insulation materials, reliable impregnation processes, and detection measures, enabling the motor to have strong adaptability to overvoltage caused by the high-frequency carrier of the frequency converter. The YVF2 series variable-frequency speed regulation motors use an independent fan for cooling to ensure that the temperature rise does not exceed the allowable value when the motor operates at low speed for a long time.

The YVF2 series high-voltage variable-frequency three-phase asynchronous motors have a parallel cooling fin structure on the exterior, with a large heat dissipation area and a beautiful appearance. The correspondence between the installation size and power of the YVF2 series motors and the main performance indicators (4-pole) comply with the relevant regulations of the newly promulgated national standard (Technical Conditions for Special Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors for Variable-Frequency Speed Regulation). Except for the axial length and exterior dimensions, the installation size is the same as that of the Y2 series motors, facilitating selection, installation, maintenance, and interchange. The YVF2 series motors can be conveniently equipped with braking devices, encoders, and tachometers to achieve rapid braking and automatic control.
Motor Applications
The YVF2 series high-voltage variable-frequency three-phase asynchronous motors can be used to drive various different machinery. They are widely used in the speed regulation of constant torque (below base frequency) and constant power (above base frequency) in industries such as fans, pumps for regulating flow, machine tools, textiles, chemical engineering, metallurgy, and steel. And they can meet the needs of special fields such as papermaking, cables, plastics, packaging, elevators, and hoisting.
Operating Conditions for Variable-Frequency Motors
- The altitude does not exceed 1000m.
- The ambient air temperature changes with the seasons but does not exceed 40°C, and the minimum does not fall below -15°C.
- The average relative humidity of the wettest month is 90%, and the monthly average minimum temperature of this month does not exceed 25°C.
