Motor Overview
The YE4 series (IP55) ultra-high efficiency three-phase asynchronous motors produced by Xi’an Taifu Simo Motor (Frame Numbers 80~355) (hereinafter referred to as “motor”) are low-voltage, fully enclosed, self-cooling, squirrel-cage type three-phase asynchronous motors with ultra-high efficiency, meeting the IE4 efficiency requirements of the latest version of the international standard IEC 60034-30 “Efficiency classification of single-speed three-phase cage induction motors.” The efficiency values fully meet the energy efficiency grade 1 requirements of the national standard GB18613 “Energy Efficiency Limit Values and Energy Efficiency Grades for Small and Medium-sized Three-phase Asynchronous Motors,” representing the highest standard efficiency globally. Efficiency is determined by the power loss analysis method of measuring input-output power (according to the provisions of 11.3 in GB/T 1032-2012).
The motor’s installation dimensions and power ratings comply with international IEC standards and are consistent with German DIN42673 standards. The motor’s protection level is IP55, cooling method is IC411, and it operates on a continuous duty cycle (S1). It adopts F-class insulation structure, but the entire series is evaluated according to B-class temperature rise; load noise evaluation is also required.
The motor’s rated voltage is 380V, rated frequency is 50Hz, and power range is 0.75 to 375kW, including 2-pole, 4-pole, and 6-pole motors. Motors with a power of 3kW or below use Y connection method, while others use Δ connection method.
Frame numbers H80~160 adopt a fully enclosed bearing structure, while frame numbers H180 and above use an open bearing structure with front and rear bearings equipped with non-stop refueling devices. The motor is equipped with anti-condensation drain holes. The standard motor wiring box exits from the top, but it can be modified for right-side or left-side exit according to user requirements. The junction box can be rotated 90° and 180° to facilitate different user wiring positions.

The Xi’an Taifu Simo YE4 Series Ultra-High Efficiency Energy-Saving Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors are mainly used in various fields of the national economy, such as machine tools, water pumps, fans, compressors, and can also be applied to transportation, mixing, printing, agricultural machinery, food processing, and other types of power transmission systems.
Motor Operating Conditions:
- Altitude not exceeding 1000m.
- Ambient temperature: -15~40℃.
- Operating mode: Continuous Duty (S1).
- Rated voltage 380V or 660V, rated frequency 50Hz, allowable variation range of rated voltage ±5%, allowable variation range of rated frequency ±1%.
- The motor uses coupling transmission.
- The motor’s protection level is IP54 (see GB/T4942.1).
- The motor’s cooling method is IC411 (see GB/T1993).
High-Efficiency Energy-Saving Motor Ordering Instructions:
- Please refer to the product brochure when placing an order, and determine the required product model specifications and other data. Whenever possible, select standard specifications listed in the brochure. Please specify the motor model, power, speed control, voltage, frequency, noise, and installation type in the purchase contract. If the noise level is not specified, all will be supplied as Level 2.
- Belt transmission cannot be used for 2-pole motors of 5.5kW and above and 4-pole motors of 37kW and above.
- Unless otherwise specified, Simo Motor’s default parameters are: installation type horizontal B3, insulation grade B, protection grade IP44.
- For special requirements, such as dual shaft extension, reverse junction box position, reverse rotation of the shaft, or need for tropicalization, outdoor anti-corrosion type, etc., please clearly specify in the contract and contact our factory in advance.
