     Taking YVFE2-132S2-2 as an example: YVFE2—Motor model, YVF indicates variable-frequency speed regulation, E2 represents IE2 high efficiency; 132—Center height; S—Frame length code; 2—Core length code; 2—Number of poles.

Motor Overview

The Xi’an TaiFu Simo YVFE2 series high-efficiency variable-frequency speed-regulating three-phase asynchronous motor is a new generation of variable-frequency speed-regulating motor, developed to meet market demands by introducing advanced foreign technology and building on the experience of producing the YJTG series variable-frequency speed-regulating three-phase asynchronous motors.

In terms of electromagnetic design, adjustments have been made to the stator and rotor slot shapes, winding forms, and connection methods to adapt to the conditions of inverter power supply. This design ensures that the motor can maintain strong overload capacity at high frequencies while also sustaining constant torque output at low frequencies. Structurally, the installation dimensions are the same as those of the Y series motors, except for smaller length dimensions. Other external dimensions are also consistent with the Y series motors, ensuring strong interchangeability and ease of use for customers. This series of motors uses an independent axial fan for forced ventilation, ensuring good cooling effects across the entire frequency range, with temperature rise not exceeding specified values.

The YVFE2 high-efficiency variable-frequency speed-regulating three-phase asynchronous motor, when paired with a variable-frequency device, offers significant energy-saving effects, excellent speed regulation performance, a wide range of speed adjustments, low noise, and minimal vibration. It can be matched with various frequency converters both domestically and internationally. The 4-pole motors in this series comply with the provisions of the “Technical Conditions for Small Variable-Frequency Speed-Regulating Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors and Power Supplies” JB/T7118-93. Motors with other pole numbers comply with IEC34-1 and GB/T755 standards.

Motor Structure

  1. The enclosure protection level is IP55, but it can also be customized to IP55 according to user requirements.
  2. The cooling method is fully enclosed with an axial fan (IC416).
  3. High-resolution sensors (such as photoelectric encoders, rotary transformers, and tachogenerators) can be added upon user request.
  4. Electromagnetic brakes (both power-on and power-off types), gear reducers, and other accessories can be added as per user requirements.
  5. Viewed from the shaft extension end, the motor terminal box is located on the right side of the frame but can be positioned on the left side or top based on user requirements.

Main Technical Performance and Parameters

  1. The motor is designed for continuous operation.
  2. The rated voltage is 380V, and the rated frequency is 50Hz. The rated voltage and frequency can be customized according to user requirements.
  3. The insulation class is F.
  4. For motors with a center height of H80-255, speed regulation is constant torque between 5-50Hz; for motors with a center height of H250-355, speed regulation is constant torque between 3-50Hz and constant power between 50-100Hz. The high-frequency range can also be customized as per user requirements.
  5. The motor has strong overload capacity.
  6. It has good low-speed performance.
  7. For frame sizes 280 and below, the Y connection method is used, while the △ connection method is used for 315 and 355 frames.

Conditions for Using the Variable-Frequency Motor

  1. The altitude does not exceed 1000 meters.
  2. The ambient air temperature varies with the seasons but does not exceed 40°C and is not lower than -15°C.
  3. The average relative humidity in the most humid month is 90%, with the lowest average temperature in that month not exceeding 25°C.
