Motor Overview
The Xi’an TaiFu Simo YVFE3 series ultra-high-efficiency variable-frequency speed-regulating three-phase asynchronous motor is derived from the YE3 series motor, achieving an efficiency standard of IE3. Structurally, the heat dissipation fins are arranged in a parallel and vertical distribution, offering a novel design and unique appearance. The terminal box is located on the top of the motor, making wiring more convenient for users. Components such as the frame and end cover are designed for reduced noise and vibration. An axial fan is used for forced ventilation, ensuring that the motor’s temperature rise does not exceed the specified value during long-term constant torque operation at low speeds. The design fully considers the adverse effects of inverter power supply on the motor, ensuring strong overload capacity at high frequencies and maintaining constant torque output at low frequencies.
The YVFE3-80-160 models are equipped with fully enclosed, maintenance-free bearings, while the YVFE3-180-355 models feature front and rear bearings with oiling devices for easy maintenance.
This series of ultra-high-efficiency variable-frequency speed-regulating three-phase asynchronous motors, combined with a variable-frequency device, offers significant energy-saving effects, excellent speed regulation performance, a wide range of speed adjustments, and features such as low noise and minimal vibration. The 4-pole motors in this series comply with the JB/T7118-2004 standard, while other pole numbers comply with IEC34-1 and GB755 standards.
Motor Structure
- The enclosure protection level is IP55, but it can also be customized to IP55 according to user requirements.
- The cooling method is fully enclosed with an axial fan (IC416).
- High-resolution sensors (such as photoelectric encoders, rotary transformers, and tachogenerators) can be added upon user request.
- Electromagnetic brakes (both power-on and power-off types), gear reducers, and other accessories can be added as per user requirements.
- Viewed from the shaft extension end, the motor terminal box is located on the right side of the frame but can be positioned on the left side or top based on user requirements.
Main Technical Performance and Parameters
- The motor is designed for continuous operation.
- The rated voltage is 380V, and the rated frequency is 50Hz. The rated voltage and frequency can be customized according to user requirements.
- The insulation class is F.
- For motors with a center height of H80-255, speed regulation is constant torque between 5-50Hz; for motors with a center height of H250-355, speed regulation is constant torque between 3-50Hz and constant power between 50-100Hz. The high-frequency range can also be customized as per user requirements.
- The motor has strong overload capacity.
- It has good low-speed performance.
- For frame sizes 280 and below, the Y connection method is used, while the △ connection method is used for 315 and 355 frames.
Conditions for Using the Variable-Frequency Motor
- The altitude does not exceed 1000 meters.
- The ambient air temperature varies with the seasons but does not exceed 40°C and is not lower than -15°C.
- The average relative humidity in the most humid month is 90%, with the lowest average temperature in that month not exceeding 25°C.
