Overview of the Simo YRKS Series 10KV Wound Rotor Air-Water Cooled High-Voltage Motor
The YRKS series three-phase asynchronous motor (center height 710-1000) in the 10KV range is a wound rotor three-phase asynchronous motor. This motor series is produced in accordance with the JB/T7594-1994 technical specifications. The 10KV motor can be directly used on a 10KV power grid, offering advantages such as simplified equipment, reduced investment, and lower energy consumption. The protection level of the YRKS series motor is IP44 or IP54, and the cooling method is ICW81A. The stator windings use F-class insulation material, securely fastened at the bottom, and have undergone multiple inter-turn pulse voltage tests and withstand voltage tests during manufacturing. It is also treated using advanced imported vacuum pressure impregnation solvent-free paint technology (VPI), which ensures excellent and reliable insulation performance, high mechanical strength, and strong moisture resistance.
The rotor windings are made of pure copper and also use F-class insulation material.
The bearings come in two types: rolling bearings and sliding bearings, depending on the motor’s power and speed. The rated voltage is 6KV or 10KV, with a frequency of 50Hz. The basic protection level is IP44, but motors with other voltages, frequencies, and protection levels can be provided according to customer requirements.
This motor has the advantages of high efficiency, energy savings, low noise, low vibration, lightweight, reliable performance, and easy installation and maintenance.
This series of motors can provide a high starting torque with a relatively small starting current, making them suitable for conditions where the feeder line capacity is insufficient to start squirrel-cage motors, where starting time is longer, and where starting is frequent and requires a small range of speed adjustments. Examples include driving winches, rolling mills, wire drawing machines, and similar applications.
This motor series adopts a box-type structure, F-class insulation, and installation type IMB3, designed for continuous operation (S1) based on continuous duty. Motors with H710-800 use sliding bearing structures. The motor’s rated frequency is 50Hz, with rated voltages of 6KV or 10KV. Other voltage levels or special requirements can be negotiated with the manufacturer during ordering.
2. Explanation of the Simo YRKS Series 10KV Wound Rotor Air-Water Cooled High-Voltage Motor Model
For example, YRKS7101-4:
- YRKS indicates a wound rotor three-phase asynchronous motor with an enclosed air-water cooler.
- 7101 indicates a frame center height of 710mm and the first core length.
- 4 indicates the motor has 4 poles.
3. Ordering Information for the Simo YRKS Series 10KV Wound Rotor Air-Water Cooled High-Voltage Motor
When placing an order, the following details should be specified, using YRKS7101-4 as an example:
- Motor model: YRKS7101-4
- Installation method: IMB3
- Rated power: 2800KW
- Protection level: IP44 or IP54
- Rated voltage: 6KV
- Cooling method: IC01
- Rated frequency: 50Hz
- Insulation level: F-class
- Synchronous speed: 1500r/min
- Environmental conditions: Altitude 1000m, ambient temperature 40°C
Note: The motor rotates clockwise (viewed from the shaft extension end); 4-pole motors should not use belt drive. If belt drive is required, consultation with the manufacturer is necessary.
