The fan blades of Simar Motor mainly include plastic fan blades, aluminum fan blades, and iron fan blades. The fan blades of Simar Motor are corrosion-resistant, high in strength, low in noise, high in efficiency, beautiful in appearance, convenient in installation, and well-made. A large number of fan blades and other accessories are available in stock for conventional motors. Special-shaped fans can also be processed and manufactured according to user requirements.

Overview of Motor Fan Blades

The motor fan is a type of motor with a fan hub and blades. Along the outer circumference of the fan hub, there are evenly distributed slots, and the blades are inserted into the slots. Through permanent connection methods such as welding and bonding, the blades and the fan hub become one. The overall balance of the motor fan is good, which can save the working hours required for adjusting the balance. The weight is reduced by more than 30% compared to the bolt-connected fan. When the motor using this utility model operates, both vibration and noise are reduced.

Although the motor fan has high reliability, it is still a mechanical device. When used for a long time, its speed may decrease or even stop. Therefore, it is best to monitor the operating status of the fan in real-time to facilitate the timely detection of problems. Currently, there are two types of monitoring methods for the fan itself: alarm sensors and speed sensors. Using the alarm sensor, an alarm signal can be given when the fan speed is lower than a certain threshold value, while the speed signal output can achieve real-time monitoring of the fan speed. The alarm signals output from the fan circuit have two states: “high level” and “low level”. The meanings represented by the two levels are generally in accordance with the positive logic system. A high level indicates “fault”, and a low level indicates “normal”. The speed signal output from the fan circuit is usually in the form of pulses. Each wave head indicates that the fan has rotated one circle. Such a signal can be directly provided to the host through the data bus for display. The speed signal output by some fans is not the actual speed of the fan but a multiple of the speed. For example, 2, 4, or 6 pulses are generated for each rotation, and it must be processed to form the actual speed signal reflecting the fan. To distinguish whether the fan speed is the actual speed or a certain multiple, the actual speed can be measured using a tachometer and then compared with the displayed data. The speed measurement signal of the fan is generally output from a three-lead plug. Among the three leads, yellow and black are +12V power supply and grounding respectively, and the other color wire is the speed signal output line. It should be noted that the third lead of some three-lead fans is not the speed measurement signal output line but the speed control signal line, through which the speed control signal is input to the fan motor.

Specification Distinction of Motor Fan Blades:

The motor fan blades are distinguished by the frame size of the motor. For example, in the Y series: 80, 90, 100, 112, 132, 160, 180, 200, 225, 250, 280, etc.

Precautions for Purchasing Motor Fans:

  1. Check the random documents
The motor fan is randomly equipped with the operation manual, product certificate of conformity, electrical circuit diagram, and packing list. Check the packing list and verify the components.
  2. Observe the appearance of the motor fan
Carefully check whether the fan guard and blades of the motor fan have obvious deformations. Rotate the blades, which should be light and flexible and should not always stop at the same position.
  3. Check the starting performance
The starting performance is an important quality indicator of the motor fan. During the inspection, at the low speed gear and 85% of the rated voltage of the power supply, the motor fan should be able to start from a standstill and operate normally. The shorter the time required for a motor fan to start and operate normally, the better the starting performance of the motor fan.
  4. Check the speed regulation performance
After being powered on, there should be no abnormal noise in the mechanical transmission part of the fan. When the electric fan operates at high, medium, and low speeds, both the motor and the blades should be stable, with small vibration and low noise. The head-shaking and stopping of the motor fan should be agile, without intermittent, stagnant, or jittering phenomena.
  5. Check for leakage
After the motor fan is powered on, if there is a numb feeling when touching it by hand and the test pen shows a luminous display when tested, it can be determined that the casing is leaking and should not be used.
  6. Check the continuous operation of the motor fan
After the electric fan operates continuously for 2 hours, if the surface of the head casing is hot to the touch, it indicates that the temperature is too high and cannot be used. Under normal circumstances, the surface temperature of the head casing should be below 50°C and should not have a hot feeling.
