Motor Overview
The Xi’an TaiFu XiMa YB3 series mining explosion-proof motor is a fully enclosed, self-cooling, squirrel-cage type, explosion-proof three-phase asynchronous motor, developed based on industry standard designs. The efficiency adheres to the energy efficiency rating standards in GB18613-2006 “Limited Values and Energy Efficiency Ratings for Small and Medium-sized Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors,” achieving a national level 2 energy efficiency and European EFF1 level. The motor is characterized by excellent performance, safe and reliable operation, reduced vibration and noise compared to similar products, and compliance with environmental protection requirements.
The explosion-proof performance of the Xi’an TaiFu XiMa YB3 series mining explosion-proof motor meets the requirements of GB3836.1-2010 “Explosive Atmospheres Part 1: General Requirements for Equipment” and GB3836.2-2010 “Explosive Atmospheres Part 2: Equipment Protected by Explosion-Proof Enclosures ‘d’,” and also conforms to IEC79-1, BS4683, and EN50018 standards, making it explosion-proof. The explosion-proof markings are Ex d ⅠMb, Ex d ⅡAT4 Gb, Ex d ⅡB T4 Gb, suitable for environments where explosive gas mixtures are present.
This series of explosion-proof motors is suitable for underground coal mine fixed equipment and factory locations in category II A and II B, with temperature groups T1~T4, where combustible gases or vapors form explosive mixtures with air.
Operating Environment of YB3 Mining Explosion-Proof Motors
Based on the basic YB3 series motor, variants can also be manufactured for different environmental conditions, such as YB3-W outdoor type, YB3-TH tropical humid type, YB3-THW outdoor tropical humid type, YB3-TA dry tropical type, YB3-TAW outdoor dry tropical type, YB3-WF1 outdoor moderate corrosion-resistant type, among others.
Ex d I Mb: Suitable for environments with methane gas (excluding mining faces).
Ex d IIA T4 Gb: Suitable for factory environments with IIA type explosive gas mixtures, with temperature groups T1, T2, T3, and T4.
Ex d IIB T4 Gb: Suitable for factory environments with IIB type explosive gas mixtures, with temperature groups T1, T2, T3, and T4.
